Come to the Ansel S. Gurney House for a unique shopping and dining experience.
Now celebrating its 30th anniversary!
In a picturesque country setting on County Road stands the historic Ansel S. Gurney House, once a tavern and stagecoach stop during the 1800's. The oldest part of the house dates back to the 1700's. It is now a delightful gift shop with eleven rooms filled with gifts from all over the world.
You can also find Ansel's Pantry, serving hearty sandwiches, homemade soups, salads and desserts. You may eat indoors or out on the deck overlooking the herb and perennial gardens.
During your visit, be sure to stroll through the many gardens which include: an herbal butterfly garden, a perennial garden in a wagon wheel design, a knot garden and many more.
